The Developer Behind Capship

Who Built Capship?

I’m Yousef. I’m a software developer, and I built this because I was sick of rebuilding the same foundation every time I had a new app idea.

The Problem I Solved

Every time I spun up a new mobile project, I lost 2 to 3 weeks to the exact same boring grunt work:

  • Wiring a React frontend to a Python FastAPI backend.

  • Fighting Apple's "Sign in with Apple" native entitlements and App Store rejections.

  • Setting up Redis Pub/Sub for real time WebSockets.

  • Configuring Email provider configuration, PostgreSQL schemas, and secure session tracking.

I didn't want to be a boilerplate mechanic. I wanted to build actual products. So I took the exact production-grade stack I use for my own apps, cleaned it up, and packaged it into CapShip so I (and you) never have to write that setup code again.

No Faceless Support. Just Me.

CapShip isn't a VC-funded startup with a massive support queue. It’s a solo dev project built by someone who actually writes code every day.

  • Direct Access: If you hit a wall with an App Store rejection or a weird WebSocket bug, you aren't submitting a ticket to a bot. You're DMing me.

  • Active Maintenance: I use this codebase myself. It doesn't get abandoned when the initial hype dies down.

  • The Guarantee: If CapShip doesn't save you at least 10 hours of setup, email me within 14 days. I’ll refund every cent. No forms, no friction, no hard feelings.

Let's Connect

I build in public and talk about full stack dev daily. Come say hi, ask a technical question, or roast my code:
